The Best & Worst of Tampa Bay is a project that has been is a long time in coming. The idea was originally conceived over twenty years ago, but the life kind of got in the way. The idea was to have a review site that is could be as comprehensive and objective as possible – for those who want to get the best out of Tampa Bay.
I have a general understanding of the values inherent in the restaurant industry, acquired from years I worked in food services – which culminated in owning a restaurant for awhile, and also, from my years of being a somewhat discerning consumer.
Some quick ground rules. There will only be reviews of establishments local to Tampa bay – or in some cases, places that originated here and now have a small local or regional chain (think Taco Bus or Crabby Bills). The reviews will be based on real visits and real meals without much concern for reputation-either bad or good.
